Why Personal Everest Coaching?

Your Insights Create Inspired action

MY Coaching Philosophy: I see coaching as a team effort - a playful Learning Journey and adventure of self discovery in the quest of greater self expression, self-fulfillment, and satisfaction.  As a coach, I act as a guide and a partner on this quest.

Due to my experience and the tools that I have collected on my own journey, I am able to assist my clients to reach new heights. As we share the journey together, through the dynamic process of powerful questions and clarifying reflection, I assist my clients to see where they are, to notice things that they might not otherwise see. When they can see their own thinking, they are able to think better, do things differently, plan more effectively, and achieve results more quickly and easily. Since different people have different needs, I tailor my coaching accordingly and meet clients where they are.

Like Mary Poppins, I believe that "in every job that must be done, there is an element of fun, you find the fun, and snap, the job's a game, and every task you undertake becomes a piece of cake."  This is especially important when challenges occur, because, by keeping some "play" in the process, we are able to be more effective, and also gain some distance. This allows us to learn from all our experiences: what worked, what didn't, and how we can move ahead from there, and plan the next steps accordingly.   Plus Neuroscience shows that the brain needs to be in a "toward" state, able to think better: more clearly, decisively, creatively. Just because it is often an uphill climb, doesn't mean it can't also be fun and meaningful.

Like a river guide encountering rapids, I am often able to anticipate obstacles that might come up and thus we can more easily steer around them, and if we do find ourselves in rough waters at times, my comfort with chaos and uncertainty helps me to be able to hold the space for my clients to more easily be able to ride out the tough times, without getting too caught up in the drama.

And I didn't get here alone, I have been helped by others, people who are members of the team, trusted professionals who have assisted me on my own journey. I also have a wide network of colleagues all over the world who are professional coaches with different specialties, ensuring the right fit for you, and I can happily refer you should the need arise, and if that would be the best course of action for you.

I help my clients to set milestones on the journey and keep them on track if they tend to veer or wander off-course, and also importantly I help them to stay playful and celebrate their successes, instead of focusing on their failures.
